Update 27 July

Many people has reported the problem of unable to open the Setup.exe after downloading.

I just found out you actually need to have WinZip installed in your computer before you can run the Setup.exe . So please proceed to download WinZip.

Resources to get you started

You only need the program MP3myMP3 to get your mp3s. It is 100% FREE with no limitations on its use and certified by blog author which is me to be a safe tool (I have been using it for months)

After you click, you will go to an easy-share page. Scroll down to see this section. Enter the code as shown (different everytime) and click get file. SOMETIMES, just sometimes, you may have to wait 100seconds because too many people are downloading this file.

Step-by-Step Guide for Beginners!

Installation Guide:

1. Click here to download this freeware¹ (5.8MB)


2. Install² the program by following the instructions.

Click on "Source" (Red) and select "Stereo Mixer" (Blue)

Click on "Settings" (Blue) and select the "Bitrate" and "Quality" (Red) of your Resulting MP3 file. Recommended Bitrate is 256 and High Quality. After selection, click on the "Close Panel" (Yellow).

Make sure the audio source is set to "Stereo Mixer" (Step 1)
Set the recording volume to "Maximum" (Recommended)

Open an MP3 file and test whether the program can detect the sound. If detected, you should see the three indications as shown by the Red arrows.

Once the program is able to detect the sound, you are ready to record.

Go to Imeem.com and find your favourite music.
Click "Record" (Yellow) followed by "Play" on the Imeem Player.
During recording, you should be able to see the length of recording (Green)
When the song finishes, click "Stop" (Blue) to stop the recording.

After you click "Stop", click on the "Save to MP3" (Red) option that appears.
A Pop-up box will appear. Enter the filename and select the destination of the saved file. Click on "Save" (Green).

After clicking on "Save", you should see "Saving Recording.." (Red) When saving is complete, the screen will be back to default. Your MP3 is ready now.
